‘Travelling Vicariously’ complete work

I first do a pen and ink drawing . This is scanned to then manipulate on the computer. I then have it printed professionally as an archival giclee on Canson rag paper. I then continue to draw on the print with archival ink pens. A lengthy process!

The above print is a photograph I took from the slums of the Philippine. Then on top of the photographs I use Gel printing techniques to transfer the images from books and magazines at the op shop I found/bought or what is known as an opportunity shop where mostly people with little spare income purchase clothing or domestic wares of necessity in Australia.
